About

Dan is a semi-retired engineer, educator and small-business owner.  In 1992, he and a partner founded Kg Systems, a tech company that designed and built automated weighing systems.  Dan still operates that business today.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Drexel University.  Demonstrating his belief in life-long-learning, as a grandfather he returned to school earning a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science, co-sponsored by the Wharton School of Business.

He is also a SCORE mentor helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses using his skills in business management, information technology, programming, and engineering.

In his free time, he volunteers for two other nonprofits: Landhealth Institute providing bookkeeping and technical support, and the Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium in Camden as a scuba diver.
