TranslateWayne serves as a mentor for SCORE Philadelphia and as a leader for SCORE workshops. As owner/operator of several businesses and a nonprofit he brings more than 25 years of business acumen to the chapter.
He began his career as a social worker and trainer in the human services arena, working in a such diverse areas of concern as reproductive health, community organizing and adolescent treatment. Pivoting in 1995, he left his 9-to-5 and opened his first business, a technical solutions company providing a wide range of technical related services and products to tristate small businesses. He now splits his time between that company )which is still operational after two and a half decades), a drone services company and a nonprofit providing free technical information and support to seniors.
