30 years of experience leading a successful landscape architecture firm, construction company, and real estate holding company. I bring a wealth of knowledge in business management, developing systems, hiring, team leadership, and industry-specific strategies. At SCORE, I am eager to support clients by sharing insights gained from managing a team of over 40 professionals and navigating the unique challenges of the construction and design industry.
I am interested in volunteering for Score because I have a passion for supporting small businesses and helping them thrive. I believe that small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I want to contribute my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in this sector. Score's mission aligns perfectly with my desire to empower entrepreneurs and provide them with the guidance and resources they need to succeed.

Retired from a 36 years working in Corporate and looking ways to use my skills to serve others. A former colleague, James Mutschler, volunteers through the RI chapter and highly recommended it to me. I have a background in internal consulting, working with leaders to set strategy and drive operational improvements. I have worked across many disciplines and think my background and experience would allow me to mentor leaders.
I want to provide guidance and train SCORE clients through workshop facilitation. I also would like to mentor clients in providing structure and resources for their ambitions.
Having worked for startups and started 2 of my own companies, I would love to give back to the community by helping others follow their dreams and start a business of their own. Friends tell me I am approachable, thoughtful, creative, analytical, dedicated, an active listener, and a hard worker. I am good with finances and have a hands-on, DIY mentality. I love to find unique ways to solve problems and overcome business challenges.
